This straightforward iced coffee recipe is easy for anyone to follow and enjoy. For those looking to elevate their coffee game, learning to make cold brew coffee at home is a great next step.
Ingredients ●Ground Coffee ●Water ●Milk or Cream ●Sweetener ●Ice
How to Make Iced Coffee Start by mixing water (either cool or lukewarm) with ground coffee in a large pitcher. Stir the mixture and let it sit for approximately 8 hours. I typically prepare this before going to bed and leave it covered in the refrigerator overnight. Once it has steeped, strain the coffee using a coffee filter or a combination of cheesecloth and a fine mesh strainer. This process can take a few minutes, which is completely normal. I usually begin straining after waking up and check it once I've gotten our toddler ready and taken care of myself, which is about 30-45 minutes later.
Now you have your iced coffee concentrate. This amount usually lasts me several days to a week. To serve, fill a glass with ice and pour in the chilled iced coffee. I enjoy it plain or with a few generous tablespoons of cream. Alternatively, you can freeze some of the iced coffee into ice cubes to use in future batches for a stronger coffee flavor.

Biscoff lovers rejoice - McDonald's is bringing back an axed favorite and debuting a brand new biscuity treat.
For those who don't remember the travesty, the Biscoff McFlurry was introduced in restaurants back in July 2023 but was discontinued just six weeks later on August 2. The iconic dessert features a Biscoff crumb 'swirled onto the soft serve, giving it that extra crunchy flavor'.
Luckily, the fast food giant is bringing back the holy grail product - but there is a catch...
Priced at £1.99, the Biscoff McFlurry will make a triumphant return on April 17. However, the sweet treat will not be a permanent fixture and will only be available for a 'limited time'.
But Biscoff lovers needn't worry, as McDonald's is also debuting a brand new Biscoff Frappe that launches on the same day. Priced at £2.99, the vanilla-flavored drink is blended with ice and Biscoff crumb, then topped with caramel-flavored cream and a Biscoff crumb dusting. McDonald's dubbed the beverage an 'ideal treat' for spring, and it's easy to see why.
Fans were sent into a frenzy after rumors of the Biscoff products launching last week - and are now vowing to rush to stores when the new items drop. "Oh my God, this is a dream come true," one person wrote on social media.
Another agreed, commenting: "I love anything Biscoff." While a third added: "Biscoff frappe, oh myyy, and the McFlurry, get in my stomach."
In more good news, the much-loved Galaxy McFlurry is making a triumphant return, featuring chocolate drops and Galaxy chocolate sauce. The famous Galaxy Caramel Pie is also back in action - made up of a chocolate crust stuffed with Galaxy caramel sauce. The chocolatey desserts are both priced at £1.99.
If you haven't got much of a sweet tooth - fear not, as the iconic Chicken Big Mac (£4.69) is also hitting stores nationwide. The triple-layered bun features two 100 percent chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, cheese, lettuce, pickles, and Big Mac sauce.
New additions include the Quarter Pounder Deluxe (£4.89) - a 100 percent beef patty with mustard, ketchup, onion, lettuce, mayo, tomato, pickles, and cheese - as well as Cheese and Herb Melts (£2.89). The cheesy sides are a blend of mozzarella and Emmental and are served with a 'rich tomato dip'.
You'll also no doubt notice a change in the staple menu items Quarter Pounder, Cheeseburger, and Big Mac, as the burger chain has completely changed how they cook them. They will now be served in a glazed bun - enhancing the flavor of the burgers.
